Get to know more about Antioch's talented faculty in the Center for Creative Change. They are recognized as experts in their fields both nationally and internationally. Here are a few examples:
Three CCC faculty members recently presented papers at a global leadership conference in China. Sadruddin Boga of the Management program faculty explored how a leader needs to cultivate an awareness of shifting paradigms when navigating in a constantly changing environment. Farouk Seif, now professor emeritus in the Whole Systems Design program, examined the Euro-American culture as it continues to influence leadership theories and practices. Barbara Spraker, Organizational Psychology program faculty, probed the role
of leaders to create space for diverse voices to be heard within all levels of an organization.
Jonathan Scherch, Environment and Community program faculty, has received international recognition for his efforts to promote organic agricultural practices within Tibetan refugee settlements in India. To learn more, visit his website.
Kate Davies, director of the Center and Environment and Community program faculty, was lead author of a report indicating that Washington state has the highest rate of breast cancer in the nation and that environmental toxins play a role. Davies also discovered correlations between environmental toxins and high rates of asthma in children. She recently developed a website that's a clearinghouse of information on health and environmental quality in Washington.
