Summary of Education and Relevant Experience

Ann Lazaroff is a licensed mental health counselor who has worked in a community mental health setting with chronically mentally ill adults and their families, as well as in crisis intervention. She is currently in private practice providing therapy for individuals, groups, couples and families, with an emphasis on family of origin issues, mood disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder. She currently facilitates a number of process groups dealing with various issues, including Bipolar, and women survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She has particular interest in working with parents with at risk youth, and families of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. In addition, she has extensive expertise and experience working with sexual minorities.
