Button Blanket, a remembrance connecting the past to the future
This blanket honors the life cycle of the salmon and its interdependence upon healthy habitats and clean water to sustain both life and future generations. Because all life forms are interconnected, the four people of the four directions of the earth are represented in the blanket as parts of the integral vitality of nature.
